The goal for Day Rips was to create a brand and website that felt elevated, grounded, and easy to trust, while clearly communicating what it is, what makes it different, and how to book.

The Challenge

Day Rips had a strong concept and a clear emotional pull, but needed a digital presence that could fully bring the idea to life. The challenge was to create a website and brand system that captured the feeling behind the experience while also making the offer easy to understand and easy to book.

The website needed to:

  • Clearly explain what a Day Rip is and who it's for

  • Balance adventure, wellness, and social connection without feeling overly corporate or overly "retreat"

  • Build trust through strong visuals, thoughtful flow, and clear messaging

  • Support bookings through a simple, intuitive Shopify experience

  • Make trip offerings feel exciting, organized, and worth committing to

This project blended brand direction, UX strategy, and Shopify implementation to shape a full customer experience from first impression to booking.

Overview

Maida is a transformational coach and healer whose website no longer reflected her evolving services and authentic brand. Faced with outdated design and confusing messaging, she needed a digital presence that truly resonated with her vision and business goals.

Through a rapid, strategic “Lightning Launch,” I redesigned her Squarespace site to be bold, clear, and conversion-focused. This case study details how a cohesive blend of UX, UI, and strategic content not only refreshed her brand but also created an engaging, high-performing online experience.

​Maida’s old website didn’t reflect the bold, confident, and grounded energy of her brand.

 

Her services—coaching, energy healing, certifications, and corporate wellness—were buried in unclear layouts and scattered messaging.
Navigation was clunky, the content lacked flow, and it wasn’t guiding users toward action.
She needed a site that not only looked good, but worked—supporting her growth and helping her attract aligned clients with ease.
